Peak Oil approaches - build a walled village?
The Living Islands Movement has circulated guff on a video about the imminent end of oil; steep demise forecast for within three years (which would seem too fast to me, without seeing the video).

via one of these, came across ABC (Australian tv) documentary on Peak Oil, which you can watch online surely gives pause for thought:

Implications big worldwide of course, but for Hong Kong... - well, population that can be sustained on the land and from inshore waters here is way smaller than at present. Those walled villages of the past surely reflect intense competition for resources.
