Black Kite roost

Info from Hong Kong's Great Outdoors

Surely Hong Kong’s signature birds, black kites can be seen soaring amongst and over high-rises, as well as over hills. In late afternoon, many of them head for one of east Asia’s largest black kite roosts, on wooded hillsides southeast of the Peak, near Magazine Gap. Numbers are highest in winter.

Vantages include the junction of Guildford and Peak roads, near Magazine Gap, along routes of bus 15 from Central and 15B from Causeway Bay.
