Victoria Peak

Info from Hong Kong's Great Outdoors

Mainly known simply as “The Peak”, this is the highest hill on Hong Kong Island, and on a clear day affords spectacular views, especially around dusk. There’s a grand circular walk “Luggard road”, and a higher, quieter circular trail, the Governor’s Walk, passing through and crossing a short stretch of wild hillside.

Readily accessible, including by the Peak Tram.

Strollling around the Peak, Hong Kong Island briefly covers Peak circuit, as well as trail up High West, and Victoria Peak Gardens.

Peak Trail is a rather fiddly site with some brief info and plenty of photos, mainly looking at walk from Peak Tram Station along Lugard Road.

Lugard Road looks at the road (which is more like a footpath), with a little history including past residents.
