If you would like to enjoy the greenery of our countryside and at the same time help the terminal patients and the families losing their loved ones, please come to join our annual Hike for Hospice.
3 Routes at Hok Tau, Fanling

Hike for Hospice is an annual fundraising event organised by the Society for the Promotion of Hospice Care. Every year, our Hike Organising Committee selects a beautiful yet challenging routes for hikers. The upcoming Hike for Hospice will be held at Hok Tau, Fanling on Sunday 22 February 2009. This year, we will go to the western portion of the Park Sin Leng Country Park. Hikers have a choice of tree routes: Scenic Route (12km), High Route (12km) and Arduous Route (18km). You could participate in the Hike on individual or team basis. If you would like to have a family walk, Scenic Route will be an ideal one for you. But if you would like to have a challenge for yourself, you may take the High or Arduous Routes.
An Enjoyable Event
Prizes will be awarded to the fastest teams and individuals, and the team and individual who have raised the most money. Complimentary breakfast, traditional curry lunch and return transportation services are provided to all participants. All hikers will also receive a commemorative T-shirt and a Certificate of Completion.
Add Life To Days
The money raised will go to support the Society to maintain the quality service to the terminal patients at Bradbury Hospice and the bereavement counseling services to the families losing their loved ones.

Hike for Hospice 2009 has been sucessfully held on 22 February 2009 with well over 500 hikers participated. We are honour to have Dr Anson Chan, former Chief Secretary and Dr Leong Chi-hung, Chairman of Elderly Commission to officiate at the starting ceremony. On the day, the hikers did not only enjoy the beautiful scenery at Pak Sin Leng but also the spring sunshine, traditional curry lunch, cold beer and drinks after hiking.
