This thread discusses the Content article: Alien Invasion planned for Lantau! I wish CEDD (Civil Engineering Department) would stop meddling in issues that are beyong their technical scope. Why can’t AFCD or Kadoorie Farm propose native alternatives? I think we should also be releived that CED never suggested concrete palm trees or rubber coconut trees (aka Nathan Road). The greening of Disney…which reminds me..who has seen those wooden birds on a pole lining the highway to the airport. Are they bird attracting devices?
