The Ag, Fish and Con Dept has just announced results of Hong Kong Reef Check 2008, a survey that, it tells us, shows that Hong Kong’s corals are ‘healthy’. The official announcement offers little information, saying mainly that its (unexplained) rating of coral health is about the same as last year.
However the full press release has more info, and says that lots of volunteer divers have been working hard to compile the data.
But are the corals really healthy? Can anyone who took part in the survey offer comment?
